Another superb French animated short-film with a water-color effect and beautiful imagery. The title means 'Child of the High Sea' in English. The story is inspired by the novel "L'Enfant de la Haute Mer" by Jules Supervielle. The film shows a small girl who lives in a village near the sea. It portrays her imaginations. She seems to be waiting for someone, preferably her father, to return from the sea. Without subtitle i could make out this much but the beautiful painting-coming-to-life feel and brilliant production makes me watch it again and again.
