Kolobok - Russian Fairy Tale

A beautiful musical animation film based on the Russian folk tale of the same name. The fairy tale is prevalent in Slavic regions in a number of variations and has similarity with The Gingerbread Man in English folk tale. It is the story of a Russian round bread kid, Kolobok who was baked by an old granny and suddenly became alive when he was place in the window sill for cooling. He then escaped from the home of the granny and grandpa and met various animals on his way like the rabbit, wolf, and bear. Each of them intended to eat him, but Kolobok cunningly managed to escape from everyone except the treacherous Fox.

The movie is directed by Marina Karpova and Edward Nazarov.
