A 3D animated science fiction action film. It is based on the popular Ratchet And Clank platforming video game series. The movie shows how Ratchet, a foolhardy lombax without a family met Clank, a pint-sized robot with more brains than brawn. Together with a team of superheroes called the Galactic Rangers, they tried to save the planets. The evil alien Chairman Drek and the Blarg were trying to destroy the Solana Galaxy. Ratchet and Clank learnt valuable lessons about heroism, friendship and discovering one's own identity during their journey together.
The movie is directed by Jericca Cleland and Kevin Munroe. The video game creators Insomniac Games helped in the making of the game. The animation film is produced at Rainmaker Entertainment's Vancouver studio in Canada.
The film is scheduled to release in April 29, 2016.
